Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT), a unit of Information Technology Services, offers the Digital Commons at Penn State initiative to equip every campus location with a fully supported digital media production studio. All Penn State students, staff, and faculty have access to Digital Commons facilities with the means to create digital content to enrich coursework. There are currently eleven campuses with Digital Commons facilities, with the goal of having this service available to the entire Penn State system by spring 2009. TLT is inviting faculty interested in Digital Commons to participate in a one-hour focus group. These sessions will help TLT staff learn more about the digital media needs of faculty and also learn more about how faculty anticipate using digital media resources already available at the Digital Commons. Focus group meetings will be scheduled February 20-28 at the convenience of faculty participants. Face-to-face meetings will be held at University Park, but non-University Park faculty may choose to participate via Adobe Connect or conference call. To participate in a focus group, please complete the form at http://digitalcommons.psu.edu/focusgroup or send email to digitalcommons@psu.edu.
