Extracting Audio For a podcast in Final Cut Pro

Once you have completed your podcast in Final Cut Pro select FILE-EXPORT-AUDIO TO AIFF.

You will notice that this audio file is much too large to be used as a podcast.

Next drag that file into iTunes. Once it is in the iTunes Library you need to convert it to AAC. To do this hold the control button and click on the name of your file. Next select convert to AAC.

Once you have converted the file to AAC you can drag the new file to the desktop of the computer. From there you can upload it like you would any other podcast.
