Make sure that VCR/DVD deck is plugged in and powered on.

Connect the composite cables (Yellow, White, Red) from the DV Converter to the Output on the back of the VCR/DVD Deck. Make sure that the cables are plugged into the appropriate color.

Connect the Firewire cable from the DV Converter to the Firewire port on the back of the Macintosh.

Push the DVD/VCR button on the front of the deck to select which format you want to capture.
