On March 16, Digital Commons Pattee will open for student use, joining a similar facility in the Pollock Building to offer the latest equipment and technology service for creating a wide-array of multimedia projects. The new facility is located in 213 Pattee Library, west, (next to the Music and Media Center). Students may enter through Pattee Library, west, proceed on ground level down the corridor to the opposite side of the building and take the elevator to the second floor.

Digital Commons is an ITS (Information Technology Services) initiative to provide support for digital media production for teaching and learning at University Park and Penn State campus across the Commonwealth. Digital Commons currently offers 20 facilities designed to support media production and open to all faculty and students.

ETS is thrilled to announce that this Summer Ellysa Stern Cahoy, Assistant Head of Library Learning Services in the Penn State University Libraries, will join ETS as a Faculty Fellow. During her time as a Fellow, she will be exploring the topic of digital literacy acquisition in-depth and developing instructional solutions in collaboration with TLT/ETS staff expert in online content creation, including Digital Commons staff.
